Mindful Intimacy Workshop - Summer edition

  • Dalston London, England United Kingdom (map)

A special Summer edition of our Mindful Intimacy Workshop, where we learn to build meaningful, respectful, authentic connections

In a world where shallow small talk and dating apps dominate, we invite you to experience intimacy in its purest form. No pretence, no masks – just you, as you are. Here, you can embrace your feelings, play, connect, and truly be yourself. Our focus is on conscious connection through the body, encouraging a slow, sensual, and playful approach to understanding the depths of human connection.

*Suitable for singles and couples

Here is what’s on the menu:

Embodied meditation & movement:

It all starts with you. Becoming intimate with yourself is the first step toward forming meaningful connections with others. We believe that by understanding your body and emotions, you can communicate your desires and boundaries effectively, paving the way for nourishing and authentic relationships. We will start our evening by arriving alone into our own bodies and then gently meeting others in the group.

Consent & Boundaries:

As we connect with others we will learn important skills that include giving and receiving consent, and creating, protecting and respecting your own and each other’s boundaries. In today's society, we often find ourselves entangled in people-pleasing, conflict avoidance, blame-shifting, and passive-aggressive communication as the status quo. But what if we could transform this norm? What if we learned to attune ourselves to the signals our bodies send and candidly express our true emotions? Learn embodied tools and practice them throughout the workshop.

Communicating Needs & Desires:

With safety and consent in place, we can explore expressing our needs and desires. Here we can become playful, sensual, and caring with each other while we learn to express and meet our desires. We frequently confine ourselves to the narrative that our needs and desires are "excessive" or "needy," silenced by the dread of judgment. We’ll work with Chris’ Embodied Relating approach to playfully articulate our desires while learning to be a good listener to our partners.

Intimate sharing circles, dance and games:

Through games and playful frameworks, each guest will have an opportunity to foster authentic bonds and to unlock the power of vulnerability and sincere communication.
