Embodiment practice - release stress and invite Pleasure with NLMM method - ONLINE

The Non-Linear Movement Method is a powerful somatic practice for emotional release and creating more potential for pleasure.

This powerful somatic method was developed by Michaela Boehm over the past 2 decades of instruction and practice. You might have seen the practice and the founder Michaela Boehm, on Love, Sex & Goop documentary on Netflx.

This embodiment practice invites participants to intuitively and gently move their bodies to identify and access feelings and emotions in the body and release stress, tension and trauma using motion instead of intellectual reasoning. It also is a way to find and expand positive sensations in the body and call in / manifest feelings and dreams.

How can it benefit my confidence and connection to sexual energy?

In the documentary, you could see how this method was used by a couple, who have lost desire for each other, to reconnect with their own bodies first, to then reestablish the connection and desire with their partner. Desire and passion for life and sex can get lost with increased stress and numbness in the body, and NLMM helps us release that stress and come back to our natural, alive, erotic selves.

Who is it suitable for?

People of any age and any physical abilities can do and benefit from NLMM, as it allows one to be self-regulating and be exercised in any position, including lying down.

It can be used as a way to release stressful events of the day and unwind, while also being applied as a part of healing much more complex traumas.

How will this session be conducted?

1. Certified NLMM teacher Mariya Grinina, the founder of Feel, will introduce you to NLMM practice and help you get settled in your space. She will demonstrate the variations of how to do this practice. It is a requirement to have your camera on for this part, to create a safe and trusting container.

2. You will be invited to get on your matt or a carpet, in your comfortable clothes, and be guided through the practice. You can choose to keep your camera on or off for this part.

3. At the end of the practice, you will be invited to lie down and integrate the powerful work you've done.

*Online sessions are recommended by the founder Michaela, as she found that people tend to let go and express themselves more in the comfort of their own home.
